I was at a craft fair a few months back. The lady in the booth next to mine admired one of my wares, but wanted it in a different color. As luck would have it, I had the yarn on hand, so I was able to make her one as we sat there. It didn’t take me that long, and I felt rather guilty for what I charged for it. She didn’t seem to mind. And considering I had designed the thing as well… Yeah, I like that cartoon.
It takes effort to master a skill, and to upkeep the skill. Don’t sell that investment short.
