So you are merrily scrolling through the Facebook feed and run across a prompt and you just have to reply. Below are the results. It is all in one block because I wrote it as a comment.

“Hey Jill, I just moved here. What is this pamphlet about? Is it something I should hit up?” Amy set the pamphlet on the table as she sat down for their weekly lunch together at an outside cafe. … “Oh, right. So we got a winter fae community out by the rocks, and the mayor – back when women could be mayor – made an agreement of a sacrifice every ten years if they leave the rest of us alone – a blessing on the crops for ten stadiums distance for every extra sacrifice. (Don’t ask me what a stadium distance is,) Their family has kept the contract going and own the farmland closest to the stones. We put out the pamphlet, telling guys that single, young “women” about to finish school will be there. The creepers show up, they feed the stones, and we get good crops and a few less creepers for a couple years.” … “What is to keep teenagers from going out there.” …. “The pamphlet is made from paper from wood from the nearest tree to the circle. It will find its way into the hands of the proper people.” … “Then why did I get it?” …Just then a breeze picked up the pamphlet and blew it down the street. “Because you needed to get in on the secret, and it needed to be passed on to the right person.”
