I adored Unshelved during its original run from February 16, 2002 to October 17, 2016. The creators have moved on to other things after nearly 15 years of creating this webcomic, but it lives on at the website and in published collections, running through the over 4,500 strips created. Dewey and gang are still relevant today in many ways such as the above comic where a daughter is merrily reading books on her phone and her mother wants to read REAL books. Dewey, who works with teens, doesn’t care about the format.
