Dear Readers,

May has been a busy month, nearly as busy as January through April, as I transferred my energy from taxes to writing, or at least the business of writing. Obviously in today’s market web presence is essential. If you self-publish, you must do all your own marketing. And if you get a publishing house … you must do all your own marketing (sigh). So the first stage of my business plan required setting up a Facebook page, an Amazon author’s webpage, and a blog, all of which I managed in 2013 more or less.

In May I completed the second stage of the plan, setting up a website (now available at erinpenn.com!), and beginning an email newsletter (now available, right here! right now!!). Moving forward I will need to maintain all this, plus attend conventions and do a little bit of writing.

With all that happening, my writing has fallen a little behind. And with the June ConCarolinas just around the corner, it will be another week before I can start pushing myself there. But soon I should be returning to The Anti-Christ’s Big Sister Blog and The Cons of Romance and The Queen’s City Coven.

Newsletters are scheduled for the beginning of March, June, September, and December going forward. If you wandered into this through the website, you can sign up for the email version: here.

Great Reading,

Erin Penn
